1. Why Has It Come About?
Northamptonshire's Area Working has come about as a direct result of various government reports and programmes. these include the Laming Report, Every Child Matters and the National Children's Plan. It has been designed to consider what it feels like to be a child or young person growing up in Northamptonshire and to ensure that every child has a strong dedicated team around them. It will also facilitate a 'joined up' approach of providing key services and will help build and strengthen those that already exist.
